The authors, M.R. Davis, Ph.D. and J. E. Adams, R.N.,D.S. are two health and weight conscious professionals,
who individually have researched various diets/weightloss programs for at least seven years. They joined forces in 1997 and
combined their knowledge and personal experiences to develop what is now known as Jump Start Decision Weight Loss Plan. They
both have spent over twenty years in the health professions and have been on almost every conceivable diet that has been on
the market. Both have been looking for that "ideal diet". After much study, Dr. Adams and Dr. Davis have come up with this
easy diet plan for losing at least 7-10 pounds in just 4 days. They do not claim that this is a maintenance diet, only a Jump
Start. However, it can be repeated in twenty-eight days to a month.
Since joining forces in 1997, between the two
of them Dr. Davis and Dr. Adams have lost more than 90 pounds and kept it off. They do an exercise program thirty minutes
a day, which consists of a cardiovascular, strengthening and stretching routine. They do stress eating a healthy diet (whole
food/organic) and cutting back on sugar and salt.
